Today began like any other day \u2013 wake up at 5:30, gym,\nshower, breakfast on the drive to the office. As I was pulling out of the\nparking lot of my favorite caf\u00e9, however, things took a frightening turn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I drove forward, looking both ways, I slowly took my left\nturn, seeing that the light at the nearby intersection hadn\u2019t turned to let traffic\ncoming my way go.
